A pair of mid 20th century French Louis XV Scrolled Single Bed Frames.
This pair of gorgeous bed frames are presented in their original fabric, which does show some signs of use but they can be reupholstered in your chosen fabric (see below).
The price includes bed head, bed foot, side rails and a slatted wooden mattress base (made to order)
These beds are really for a large single mattress size of 3ft 6" (107cm) x 6ft 3" (191cm) but they will take a standard single mattress of 3ft x 6ft 3" (91cm x 191cm) with a slight gap at either side. Please see our mattress options that are shown below.

Our sister company Angilou Upholstery Ltd can provide you with a high quality service to restore and reupholster your antique furniture purchase.
Our years of experience informs us that due to the nature of antique and vintage furniture, we nearly always find some minor repairs that need to be addressed on the structure of each piece and thus we highly recommend using our full restoration service.
 
Price to restore and reupholster this pair of beds £275.00* (excluding fabric and trim)
* This price is based on using a single colour plain upholstery fabric to upholster the piece (s). Please can you discuss your requirements on placing your order so that we can confirm the upholstery price with you. The price includes for labour and sundry materials for the reupholstery. It does not include for the supply of a FR interliner (if required).

Please note that physical fabric samples will only be sent once the furniture item has been purchased.
Approximately 7m of fabric would be required
You are welcome to supply your own fabric, however it must be suitable for domestic / commercial upholstery. We reserve the right to refuse unsuitable fabric (i.e. for curtains)
 
Mattress Supply
Due to French beds having non-standard bed sizes at times, we highly recommend having a bespoke pocket sprung mattress that is made to measure for this bed frame. Please click on the link below to discover more about our bespoke mattresses:

Lead Time
Depending upon our work schedule at the time, we would expect this item of furniture to be ready for collection between 4-6 weeks from the receipt of the upholstery fabric.
 
Returns
We do not accept returns on our bespoke upholstery commissions. Upon completion of the works we will send you photos from every angle for you to approve / not approve the work. Any modifications required will be done for further approval prior to shipping of the furniture.
 
Delivery Terms
Collection and delivery of the item(s) is included in the selling price (only if purchased at the listed selling price) but this is dependant upon the delivery address*
This price is for addresses from the Scottish border to the south coast of England (excluding Devon and Cornwall)
We have arranged deliveries to Devon, Cornwall, Scotland and further afield however there will be a cost addition for these locations.
The courier will collect the item(s) from our premises and transport them to their depot. Upon receipt of the item(s) at the their depot, the courier will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date. The courier service always endeavors to deliver your item(s) within 10-14 days from the collection date.
 
Wrapping of Item(s)
The item(s) will be wrapped in both plastic bubble and shrink wrap by us prior to collection to protect them during transit.
