A pair of early 20th century French Louis XV Large Single Bed Frames. This pair have had their existing fabric removed ready for reupholstery.
The price includes bed head, bed foot, side rails and a wooden slatted mattress base (made to order).
These beds are a slightly larger size and will take a mattress size of 100cm x 190cm or 107cm x 190cm (3ft 6" x 6ft 3") - See Options Below

Our years of experience informs us that due to the nature of antique and vintage furniture, we nearly always find some minor repairs that need to be addressed on the structure of each piece and thus we highly recommend using our full restoration service.
 
Price to restore and reupholster this pair of beds £350.00* (excluding fabric and trim)
Painting of the bed frames would be an additional £100 in a single colour Farrow and Ball Eggshell
* This price is based on using a single colour plain upholstery fabric to upholster the piece (s). Please can you discuss your requirements on placing your order so that we can confirm the upholstery price with you. The price includes for labour and sundry materials for the reupholstery. It does not include for the supply of a FR interliner (if required).

Please note that physical fabric samples will only be sent once the furniture item has been purchased.
Approximately 7m of fabric would be required
You are welcome to supply your own fabric, however it must be suitable for domestic / commercial upholstery. We reserve the right to refuse unsuitable fabric (i.e. for curtains)
 
Mattress Supply

These beds will take a 100cm wide x 190cm long mattress with a raised mattress base. As french beds are quite low to the ground this is a popular option to add a raised base.

These beds will take a standard 107cm wide x 190cm long (3ft 6" x 6ft 3") mattress. This size of mattress can only be used with our standard slatted base.

Lead Time
Depending upon our work schedule at the time, we would expect this item of furniture to be ready for collection between 4-6 weeks from the receipt of the upholstery fabric.
 
Delivery Terms
Collection and delivery of the item(s) is included in the selling price (only if purchased at the listed selling price) but this is dependant upon the delivery address*
This price is for addresses from the Scottish border to the south coast of England (excluding Devon and Cornwall)
We have arranged deliveries to Devon, Cornwall, Scotland and further afield however there will be a cost addition for these locations.
The courier will collect the item(s) from our premises and transport them to their depot. Upon receipt of the item(s) at the their depot, the courier will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date. The courier service always endeavors to deliver your item(s) within 10-14 days from the collection date.
 
Wrapping of Item(s)
The item(s) will be wrapped in both plastic bubble and shrink wrap by us prior to collection to protect them during transit.
